In the heart of Khedivial Cairo, specifically at the Al-Ataba Express Post Building—an edifice protected under the Antiquities Law and nestled along the deeply rooted historic streets of Al-Ataba—our company undertook one of its most complex yet elegant missions: the rehabilitation of the Express Post Building. This heritage landmark is not merely an administrative headquarters but a genuine part of the city’s identity and architectural legacy.

The project was more than just development; it was a refined dialogue between past and present. We preserved the building’s unique classical spirit while enhancing its capacity to meet modern functional requirements.

Our scope of work encompassed a comprehensive rehabilitation of all building elements, carried out under strict adherence to the regulations of Egypt’s Antiquities Protection Law. This included the meticulous restoration of historic façades, revival of fine architectural details, structural reinforcement, infrastructure upgrades, and the execution of a mezzanine floor with the utmost care—without compromising the original lines or the overall aesthetic composition of the building.

We approached the project as though it were a living piece of history—worthy of preservation, restoration, and revival to its original grandeur.

This project stands as a rare example of how technical and engineering expertise can be applied to safeguard architectural heritage within a dense and challenging urban environment. It is yet another testament to our company’s ability to execute highly sensitive projects that harmonize the city’s heritage with the demands of the future.
