The Postal Museum
Standing as a testament to Egypt’s postal history and heritage, the Postal Museum was revitalized through our company’s expertise, where we infused the building with a hidden yet precise technological pulse.
Our scope focused on the mechanical works, starting with a tailor-made HVAC system designed to harmonize with the delicate nature of museum exhibitions. The central air-conditioning units provided strict control over temperature and humidity, ensuring the preservation of artifacts without causing visual or acoustic disruption. All ductwork was insulated with non-combustible materials, securing both safety and long-term sustainability.
The firefighting system became the museum’s first line of defense: networks of automatic sprinklers, heat and smoke detectors were installed with pinpoint accuracy, all linked to a centralized fire alarm system that guarantees instant response without the need for human intervention—safeguarding visitors and invaluable collections alike.
On the electrical front, we built an advanced infrastructure of distribution boards, fire-resistant cabling, and precision lighting points strategically aimed to highlight exhibits without causing damage. This was further supported by integrated low-current systems, including CCTV surveillance, early-warning alarms, and access control solutions. Together, they transformed the museum’s halls into a secure, intelligent environment operating seamlessly in the background.
